The last record in Dog On A Rope series. I'm not sure, but I think that's all that these nice folks released.
Anyway, here they share split 7" with Polish Sanctus Iuda (one of my favourite Polish bands from the 90s). Here they covered DOAR song with changed lyrics to fit their local insane wanker.
I guess this record is a result of their Polish tour that ended tragically for the band when their stand in bassist Dave Roberts was found dead with his throat cut. The local police tried to say that it was suicide. That's a bit strange way to commit suicide, don't you think?
P.S. Severed heads on the cover are from John Tyndall of the British National Party and Bolek Tejkowski of the Polish National Party.

Dog On A Rope "Rope Rage" 7"
Dog On A Rope again.
Decided to put all of their stuff here, so here it goes.
This is their second 7" and I've always loved the way that the singer sings Teacher Cop - it sounds a lot like he's saying cunt in Croatian. Great!

Left For Dead "...Demo"
Wanted to post their split 7" with The Restarts, but thought this one was a bit harder to find.
Left For Dead are really good UK punk band. This is their first CD if I'm right (after a couple of demos). They have new album out called "All Yeast 'n' Cider" on their own Dead Records so check it out.
Here's their web page and MySpace page.

Terveet Kädet "Pahan Voima '87 7"
I guess rare posting makes me look like I have a life of my own. I don't, I'm blogger ha-ha. It's a miracle that I'm actually still doing this blogging thing since stuff doesn't seem to keep my attention for too long (punk zine - one issue, comics zine - one issue, one compilation tape, a band - about six months and two gigs, get the picture?). But never mind that. Anyway, since there hasn't been one comment in over a week, I'm not too sorry. I'm removing Mr. T threat since it's obviously not working.
I hope an Terveet Kädet EP would make up for being blogging lazy to a couple of you that visit from time to time and leave a comment (you know who you are).

Dog On A Rope "Yob Culture" 7"
Their first 7". I'm not sure if this is correct track order because on the record there's no A and B side, but happy and angry side, so I've looked on the pressing plant cutting on the vinyl.
The songs about getting giro money and Ian Stuart Donaldson getting killed are on happy side, but you guessed that already.

Spithead "Skascraper" 7"
Spithead are one of the few ska punk bands that still sound good to me and stood out of thousands of boring bands of that style that exploded in the 90s.
This is their first 7" and that's what got me hooked on them. I even exchanged a couple of letters with John (guitar, vocals) back then and got in contact with him again now through his blog Ballistic Wax that I've found through Irishdave' blog.
Check out Ballistic Wax if you're ready for some vinyl treats besides punk (well, there is some of it, you cannot escape it, can you?).
Here's small Wikipedia article on them.
Brought to you with the blessing of John Spithead.

Disrupt/Nausea "Tech.No.Logic Cancer" split live LP
Bootleg time!!!
I bought this thing in a local shop somewhere around year 2000 I think. The cover says it's from Cuba with the address of Into Paul Ndez (a name?, a label?) and it's printed in 189 copies only. God, I love this stuff. Oh, yes! And on the record there's no serial numbers from the manufacturer 'cause they're scratched. And I wonder why there's no more info about this release on the web.
Anyway, it says the Disrupt stuff is live in Europe 1993 and Nausea is live in the USA 1990. This was a nightmare to rip because the tracklist of Disrupt was totally wrong and I've quit on splitting all Nausea songs 'cause they sorta melt one with another. What could make this more interesting is Disrupt song Shut (if I've understood the singer correctly) that's never been released anywhere else as far as I know.
The sound is not too bad, so enjoy.

Man In The Shadow s/t 7"
"Emoish" band from Slovenia. Knew the guys when they were playing, but don't know what's happening with them now. One of the few such bands that I liked.
Oh, yes! I've reordered the songs in the player. It makes more sense to have new post's song on the top of the player, doesn't it.

Warpath/Jim Jones Party Mix split 7"
...And Now Back To Our Programming.
If somebody noticed, I've been gone for two weeks that I spent on the coast (one week working and one week doing nothing). Glad to see the number of visitors still going up and some new comments appeared. Thanx.
So, what we have here is a split 7" of two US bands that I bought just because it had Simon Gane's drawing on the cover. I knew nothing about the bands and still I cannot find out anything about Jim Jones Party Mix (except that they were from Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin), and I've managed to find Warpath's MySpace page and some more info. They were queercore band from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and they also had split 7" with Population Control, their side on 4 way split 2x10" compilation called "Fear Persuasion Violence Obedience" with Capitalist Casualties, Cripple Bastards and Masskontroll. There's gonna be discography CD out too. JJPM play political hardcore punk.
At the time when I bought this I was very happy to hear the Warpath singer shouting "fuck you I'm queer" as there wasn't too many anti-homophobic songs that I've heard since Oi Polloi's "When two men kiss".
