I know that a lot of people are fed up with ska punk (me too), and that's not without reason 'cause there was tons of shitty bands that made the whole genre soooo boring, but...
There are always bands that stand out from every genre and Strikniën D.C. are surely one of them.
I would call this punk with ska rather than ska punk (and you won't feel guilty if you'll like it). The power of punk rock is surely here with such nice guitar tunes that I haven't heard too often and ska parts aren't boring um-cha um-cha heard it thousand times type, but they carry the tune too.
This was their only vinyl release as far as I know. They also had split CD w/Monkhouse, "Ghettoblaster" CD (with this 7" on it) and "Horses For Courses" CD. Later there was a discography which included all that plus CDR with unreleased stuff. All that stuff was released by Irish "Rejected Records".
This is the band that made me sick of the rest of ska punk and made me listen to their punk with ska A LOT during quite a few years.
This here is an excellent band.
